The asylum system seems full of injustice-people are treated like commodities, statistics rather than human beings looking for a better life. Most people seek asylum not to expand an overseas empire like Britain did in the not-so-distant past, but because they have nothing back home and may fear torture and death. people are denied the most basic of nights because they don’t satisfy the government`s ideals of a British citizen’. Men and women with a right to a safe and healthy life, and who want to work and contribute to society, and innocent children, are locked away like criminals with no chance of appealing and legal aid.
